Last day at Aspen

Hiked ten miles today, from 9600 to 12600 feet. Felt good. Ran downhill rather well, with the surefootedness of a mountain goat. Wish the uphill part was that easy.

Eric: How come you don't get your feathers ruffled easily?
Dinoj: I dont have feathers.
Eric: What do you have then?
Dinoj: Scales.

Talking with Jamie about his job as a physics teacher at Baltimore.
Dinoj: Science is about finding things out. Even if that's your next meal. I think a lot of streetkids would make excellent scientists.
